Doing the hard things is not for everyone

So many things to do but I'm always choosing the easy tasks. Are you the same? Thank goodness I put copywriting in my Manifest the Day time block schedule. And I studied for a total of an hour and a half.  Then the whole schedule was gone to waste.  Doing the hard things is difficult. It's no surprise not many get to do them right? Like climbing 14 Peaks like Nirmal Purja . Or going Free Solo on El Capitan like Alex Honnold . These men inspire me so much. What happened to the dreams of doing a marathon at 30? I don't want to reveal my age. So many of my dreams... are still dreams. I've been postponing the stuff I want to do.  Travel the world, or at least a month away alone. Work out every single day for the next 365 days. Skydive, climb the mountains of different continents. Are they still dreams I want to accomplish? What dreams have you been putting off? Are they still your dreams? What dreams have you achieved? What dreams are you the proudest of? Share them wi...

Someday is Today

I promise you there is not a person in the world who is lying on their deathbed, wishing they had watched a little more TV or played a few more video games or waited just a little while longer to make their dreams come true.  (from the book Someday is Today by Matthew Dicks )      @#$%. those words shot me. so many tales I've told the world but I haven't fulfilled one.  So many dreams left for dead. I shot them down because I'm afraid.  What are you so afraid of? What are you going to tell your future kids someday?  That you stayed at a job you stopped growing at for fear you'll run out of money living your dreams? Is running out of money worse than killing your dreams?  Would you rather die poor or die not trying to live your dreams once? I'm a coward. I hate being a coward. I hate being rooted to the ground, not moving. I hate complacency, stagnancy, I hate the place I'm in right now.  Thinking about growing, stepping out of my comfort zon...

Everybody's looking at me!

I told my mother I was shy because everyone would be looking at me. She said,  "Don't flatter yourself darling, you think anybody downstairs is interested in you? They're not.  Your job is to go and make them happy" And I brought my guitar and went down and sing. And from that day on, I was no longer the center of attention. You're the center of mine. From  The Art of Being Yourself | Caroline McHugh | TEDxMiltonKeynesWomen --- There's so many things stopping us from doing what we want to do. We're afraid people would laugh at us, people would judge. But everyone is only worried about themselves.  You do your own thing. And look at who would laugh. Even if they do, you lived your life the way you want to.  You lived out your dreams. Wanna do something?  Just do it.  Even if you fail, you know at least you tried.  If you don't try, you'll just be imagining for the rest of your life.  Love, Brienne, 23 March 2022, 9.10 p.m.
